Comfortable bed. Nice room. Espresso machine in room - excellent. Blinds were a bit broken and not blackout. Single glazing which was mostly ok at this time of year but anyone or vehicle who did go past definitely disturbed our sleep. Bath towels were small, not bath sheets. Lovely friendly staff. Good vibe. Chilled. No parking which we didnt realise until we got there. Would be useful to have that flagged before travelling so you can go straight to one of the public car parks.

We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back!

Lovely big and clean room. Mini fridge had cold water and some milk to use with the Nespresso machine. Bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The welcome and ambience were excellent. The food was superb. The view was outstanding. I wholly recommend staying and dining here.
