- mancanza TOTALE di pulizia su ogni fronte , lettini prendisole rotti e sporchi di escrementi , piscina impraticabile dalla sporcizia , piastrelle rotte , assenza di guardiani la sera ( i beach boys entravano e dormivano sui lettini o spacciavano qualsiasi tipo di sostanza stupefacente ) - assenza totale di MUSICA perché mussulmani a questo punto integralisti - servizio lentissimo e quasi inesistente - assenza TOTALE di alcol ( nemmeno una birra ) sempre perché gestita da mussulmani - camere prive di acqua calda ( per una settimana ci siamo docciati con acqua fredda ) - aria condizionata senza un regolatore di temperatura ( o 16 gradi o si doveva spegnere ) - luce insufficiente nelle camere la sera Ma SOPRATUTTO CUCINA IMMANGIABILE CHA HA CAUSATO AL GRUPPO UN INTOSSICAZIONE ALIMENTARE CON FEBBRE ALTISSIMA SPASMI E COLICHE E TUTT'ORA IN ITALIA SIMAO SOTTO ANTIBIOTICI PRETENDEREMO UN RIMBORSO PER I DANNI !!!!

This mid-range beachfront property features charming grounds, a raised sea-wall lounger deck with ocean views, and an excellent swimming pool. Security is commendable—dedicated beach guards are posted, and staff demonstrated complete integrity when our safe was accidentally left unlocked. However, several drawbacks affect the stay: Dining: Breakfast is the weakest link—extremely dry pastries, no egg/omelet station, diluted brewed coffee, and very limited choices. The dinner menu is narrow (challenging when following strict travel food precautions), though the Bolognese and kingfish were acceptable. Better dining lies a short walk toward Kendwa. Service & Staffing: Housekeeping was inconsistent, frequently omitting towels, drinking water, and coffee refills. The hotel admirably hires local youth, but low English proficiency caused communication hurdles; trainee badges would help calibrate guest expectations. Rooms & Tech: Beds are too short for taller guests. In-room Wi-Fi was unstable (2/4 bars, frequent drops), and the captive portal disrupted automated background cloud backups for tech gear. Beach & Tides: Tides remain significant. Heavy seaweed blankets adjacent lots; while the hotel clears its section, the water remains unappealing for swimming. For effortless ocean swimming, Kendwa is superior.

A quiet hotel with a really nice beach front, walking distance to the busy areas of Nungwi, good restaurants and next to a great sunset bar with live music. I would stay here again!

The whole place was in such disrepair that we ended up having to leave and book into another hotel. Sorry can’t recommend this hotel - the staff were doing the best they could under such bad conditions and there was a severe lack of managerial support for them so they couldn’t react not having any leadership. Hence why I can only say that I don’t blame the staff at the hotel for the shambles that it is. They were friendly and pleasant and helped us actually to move to another hotel. That I was extremely grateful for. I cannot send photos as there are too many defects and hazards and flaws to so. Should someone wish to see the full extent of the disrepair please send me an email address so I can’t send the photos on.

Think this is a great place to stay for families and couples I saw they offer a romantic dinner on the beach I went alone and would say there are more affordable and social options for solo travellers in nungwi But the location is great it’s not a far walk to main part of nungwi Staff were very helpful and could arrange transport for you but id recommend just walking 5 minutes into nungwi and you can get tuk tuks for cheaper travel The breakfast was good lots of options with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order I would definitely recommend this place for couples and families but not as much for solo travellers Still had a great stay non the less
