This is a cracking hotel. I stayed here some 10 years ago and returned this week. The premises are immaculate, staff are so helpful and I had a huge room with sea view. It is a short walk to the bars and restaurants. I can recommend the Hop Shoppe for ale afficionados - it is superb. The continental breakfast was fantastic. Free parking was also a boon as I'm travelling on business. I hope it's not another 10 years before I return as this is a top notch place.

From start to finish the stay was just as expected, from car parking through to departure, staff helpful, amenities excellent, definitely staying again !

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was very disappointing. We had stayed before, and were satisfied with it. This time: cold soft boiled eggs - not appealing, only sliced bread which was a bit hard until napkin put over it, cheese hard edges and not covered, fruit said was a bit ‘zingy’ which indicates fruit was off and full salad needed changing, no semi skinned link, no paper napkins or saucers and so wet spoons to be put on table etc etc
