clean rooms, good staff, very good choice at breakfast and nicely cooked food.Bar a little limitted but adequate choice for us.

The bedroom was small compared to the space in the bathroom but it served the purpose. Steeped in history full of charm Dinner was excellent. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full and it was a culinary treat. Breakfast is so delightful- not a hot lamp in sight. Everything cooked to order and so delicious. Even though Sheffield University is directly outside the main lobby it was still tranquillity. Sheffield Botanical Garden is a 7 minute walk away and worth a visit. Would definitely stay again as it was only 30 min away from Bakewell & Chatsworth House

Breakfast a bit mediocre but always piping hot. Evening meals wee excellent. Very well cooked and executed perfectly. Rooms are adequate but a bit small. Bathrooms clean and shower powerful and hot. Bed was comfortable. Loved the ability to help yourself to treats.
