Felt like somewhere between staying in your grandmother's attic and a hostel - only with less friendly staff. Poorly maintained rooms, mould and stains in the bathroom, spiders and cobwebs galore.

Lovely large room where the bathroom was massive! Lovely views overlooking the race course lovely setting too. Room needed a bigger bed as the queen looked tiny but bed was very comfortable. No USB points that we could see Breakfast was a let down, a good sausage makes a breakfast sadly the produce was mediocre, poached egg over cooked and disappointing The hotel was generally very good one tip please clean the outside menu for the restaurant it was covered in spiderwebs and would put any diner off seeing that - it did us!

We stayed on a brilliantly priced deal in a huge room. The building is wonderfully historic and all of the history is available to read and see if you are interested. Some bits need tlc but everything was working OK and the beds are comfortable.

There was no air conditioning or elevator, but the atmosphere of the hotel was excellent. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Great hotel hidden away from the main road, a little on the expensive side as far as drinks & food go, but the breakfast was very good, nonetheless. ALL the staff were very helpful from check in to check out, the hotel was clean, very quiet, great for safe parking and we will stay again. The ONLY downside is the location itself, we spent a small fortune on taxis to and from the centre of Nottingham, but it wouldn't put me off staying at Colwick Hall Hotel, a really comfortable, relaxing break.

We loved our stay here, We stayed a couple of nights The place was amazing lots of parking, staff were friendly, Room was big we stayed in Robert Burns We went for a walk through Colwick Country Park and found Tina's Cafe which was nice but shuts early.
