The staff there are friendly and the room is very clean. It is in a quiet and convenient location .

They charged 3X what I would believe to be the cost of a simple road side MOTEL. This is NOT a normal Best Western HOTEL.

This property needs some maintenance. Wallpaper peeling, dead bugs on the floor, burnt out lightbulbs, mirrors still splattered from previous guests, clogged sink, sheets too small to tuck in, cobwebs etc…breakfast was pretty good however.

TLDR— Pros: Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was great! Cons: Rude staff. Many flies in the room. Broken chair. Details— Despite sending a message to the property that we’d be arriving after dark, and in fact getting there just after 10, the ladies at the front desk were not friendly at all and seemed annoyed to check us in. It made us feel like we were doing them a grave inconvenience by having chosen to stay at their hotel. That’s how it felt. :( We arrived at the room to find about a dozen flies buzzing around, which we had to chase and kill. That alone was quite annoying. Then, my husband went to sit down at the table and sunk into the chair — it was broken and had hardly any support underneath. The hotel sent a text after we checked in, seeing if everything was OK and asking us to let them know if we needed anything. I responded at 11:15 asking for tips on handling the flies, alerting them to the broken chair, and asking about the WiFi — but received an automated response that no one was available. (I think the office might close at 11:00.) Again, disappointing. The bed was great, and the breakfast very good. The guy at the front desk when we were checking out was very apologetic and friendly. He said he’d offer a partial refund for our bad experience, but since we had booked through a third party, we had to ask hotels.com to contact him and then he would approve it. Well, hotels.com informed us yesterday that the property denied any refund. Won’t stay again.

The pictures are not what the rooms look like. Our room was filled with about 20 flies and garbage from the prior guests they never emptied the trash bin and left empty soda cans on the dresser. The staff was not friendly at all
