O 'Rourkes Cottage è situato ai piedi di imponenti scogliere calcaree con un grande giardino privato che guarda a sud-ovest verso la vista ininterrotta sul mare, The Giants Causeway e Donegal. Hallo, wir verbrachten eine schöne Woche in Nordirland. Das Haus hätte etwas sauberer sein können und es hatte eine zum Teil in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung. Auch vermissten wir als Familie mit 5 Mitgliedern Küchenausstattung, zB waren nur 2 kleine Schüsseln da und 3 kleine Teller. Allerdings entschädigten die tolle Lage und der wunderbare Wintergarten mit dem superschönen Blick!

This is the 4th time in the cottage and we hope to return. Everything is perfect. The beds and furnishings are super comfy and I love feeling like an A lister when all the passersby stop and stare at the sun room! It’s our favourite home from home.

The property was dirty and in need of a deep clean. It needs a complete refurbishment including fixtures and fittings. The garden needed maintenance. There were loads of weeds growing up against the house and the general area unkempt with rubbish in the garden. We had to sweep the sun room before using it. I appreciate grape vines drop but it certainly hadn't been swept before we arrived. It sleeps 6 but you would struggle to seat 6 in the living area. We were told we had to clean it before we left or pay for cleaning, even though the listing only asked for basic cleaning before leaving. We suspect that the only cleaning that is being done is by previous people who of course are only giving a basic clean.BTW the fire extinguishers are 20 years oldThe location was fantastic. Views from every room. This at least made up for the state of the cottage

our family had an absolutely magical time at the harbor cottage! our little girls loved finding snails and shells and exploring the beaches and caves. the owners set us up well with lots of good information about the house, harbor, and surrounding area. the home was clean and cozy with all of the things needed to make it our ‘home’ for the week including games, movies, and more. the sun room was such a fun bonus - amazing place to watch the harbor. we hope to be able to visit again! thank you for hosting us.
