Free street parking outside ,easy check in and spacious room .Very good restaurant in busy bar excellent value well cooked meals .Breakfast had good selection of cooked breakfast and usual range of cereals.

Our room was big and very comfortable and the mini fridge with water and fresh milk was a nice touch. The shower door was a bit dodgy and needs looking at. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent and all cooked to order. Service was pleasant and efficient. We found a free parking space directly opposite the hotel and, even though it is on the main road through Moffat, we didn't find it noisy or too busy to cross the road. If you were there for long enough, it's worth noting that the Edinburgh bus leaves from outside the hotel making a day trip to the capital possible without using the car. We would use this hotel again if in the area.

The hotel or pub with rooms as it really is was okay but absolutely NOT worth £70 for a single room. Very basic and very dated.

Large room and bedroom with view over town. Free parking. Excellent food.Friendly staff. Enjoyable stay.
