Struttura datata e troppo impattante che però si trova su una spiaggia tra le più belle e fruibili di Maui. Ci hanno dato un upgrade della camera a pian terreno con accesso diretto all’oceano, da restare senza fiato. Camera spaziosa e ben tenuta arredata con mobili soprammobili e quadri giapponesi. Ma la vista e la veranda sono impagabili. Grazie a Greg per avercela assegnata. Posto favoloso

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Aston Mahana at Kaanapali and would absolutely return. The highlight was the incredible oceanfront view. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and having an unobstructed view of the ocean from our room was simply unforgettable. Watching sunsets from our lanai became the best part of every day. The staff was exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, responsive, and genuinely eager to help. Their communication was especially impressive during a challenging situation when the property was impacted by Hurricane Nolo and experienced a power outage. Despite the circumstances, the team kept us informed every step of the way and handled everything professionally. What really stood out was the room upgrade they arranged for us. Combined with their excellent communication and customer service, it turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that made us feel valued and well cared for. Another major advantage is the location. Plenty of great restaurants, food options, and conveniences are nearby, making it easy to grab a quick bite or enjoy a nice dinner without traveling far. Between the breathtaking oceanfront views, outstanding staff, thoughtful room upgrade, and convenient proximity to food and dining, Aston Mahana at Kaanapali delivered an exceptional experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing Maui getaway.

Although the oceanfront view from the room was stunning, my experience at this hotel was not great. Coming to Maui, I was hoping to see a lot of wildlife, but I did not imagine I would see them in my room - roaches. My room was infested with them. It was not just a couple; in the first two out of my four-day stay, I had to handle 5-6 of them on each day . They were everywhere: the kitchen, the bedroom, and mostly the bathroom. On the third day, I left my room early in the morning and returned in the evening. By the time I got back, I found roaches on the bathroom sink, on the kitchen counter, and quite a few in the bathroom, with one on the towel. On my fourth and last day, I woke up to two much bigger roaches - one next to my bed and one in the tub. At that point, at 6:30 AM, I decided to pack my things and check out early. I had enough of the roaches. Karen at the front desk was nice and understanding and waived the resort fee, and I appreciate the hotel for that. I did not eat in my room, I walked with shoes on, and I did not take my clothing out of my suitcase, keeping it zipped the entire time. This roach issue really ruined my Maui experience - my flight to Honolulu was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but I changed it to 11:00 AM since I checked out early and just wanted to get out of there. I hope this is handled by the hotel for the sake of future guests.

My wife and I stayed for a week at the Aston Mahana and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a unit with a single bedroom (king sized) and sitting room and both the bedroom and sitting room had amazing ocean views. We could see turtles and even dolphins in the water right outside. The staff was generally very helpful. Shout out to Lyn. Keep in mind this is really a condo and not a hotel and each unit is owned by a different person, so on occasion you can get a less well maintained unit as did someone we spoke with. Ours was in excellent condition (only the beach chairs were substandard but at least there were some!). The Mahana did provide K-cups for the coffee maker and pool towels but maid service is an extra charge. The pool was nice but it was very windy and it is a deep pool (9 feet at the deep end) so not so kid friendly. The hot tub was kept at 103 degrees and was very comfortable. We did not use the ample BBQs. The location is superb with easy access to Lahaina and Kapalua. The biggest bonus was the beach just south of the hotel which has easy snorkeling and swimming, and the boardwalk gives easy access all the way to Kaanapali if so desired. We would definitely consider staying here again.
