We arrived late and the team was welcoming, the breakfast was splendid. Bed a bit soft and narrow for two and the outside lights shone in (no black-out curtains. Pillow on the head and eye-mask do the trick.

This is a very convenient location for the airport. We took a pre booked taxi from the airport at 23.00 before walking to Avis the following morning to collect our rental. There is no lift so if you’re on the second floor as we were you have to lug your cases up 34 steps. To be fair there was a porter who could have helped us, but he was very busy as a lot of travellers arrived at the same time. The front desk was very slow as poor Dominic was on his own. There appeared to be other staff members present, but none came to his assistance.

What I like: The staff went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant one. The room was clean, the bed was confortable, the pressure in the shower was good. There was a kettle with tea bags and coffee. The breakfast was awsome, with nice croissants, muffins, bagels, eggs, sausages, vegetables, cereals, fruit salad, yogurt, and a machine where you can choose your sort of coffee, like cappuccino. I was able to walk from the airport to the hotel, only 10 minutes away. What I did not like: The shower drains too slowly. I could hear the people talking and laughing as they were walking in the hallway. The room does not seem well-insulated.

Perfect for a late night arrival, super helpful staff and close to the airport. We got an uber for approx £10 which was quick and convenient and then walked to collect our rental car the next morning which was simple and felt safe. Would stay again.
