Great location and the most beautiful views. The room wasn’t very clean and besides hadn’t even been polished. In need of sn update in bathroom. Very friendly staff and an amazing breakfast.

We picked Membly Hall Hotel for its classic charm. It is an older place with real soul, nice decor, and run with love. The location is perfect, right near the beach, with EV chargers, a lovely garden, and stunning sea views from the restaurant. The reception team was amazing especially a very helpful older lady and a smiling woman with short hair.Sadly, housekeeping and restaurant service were major issues. Our room was small but clean at first. However, there were no power sockets near the bed, and the shower water was only lukewarm—never hot. Housekeeping was almost non-existent during our 6-night stay. On day two, I found old, dried blood on my bedsheets. I left the stain facing up and put out the "Please service my room" sign, but the sheets were never changed. We also never got a bath mat, and the carpet was never vacuumed.Breakfast was also disappointing. Advertised as a "Buffet" on Hotels.com, the self-serve area only had cereals, croissants, juice, and basic coffee (better coffee cost extra). The cooked options were very limited. Service was chaotic, with long waits to be seated or to order. The blonde waitress and dark-haired waiter were very unprofessional, rushing us to order, then standing around laughing and discussing their paychecks. They need more training. The only exceptions were Thursday and Friday, when an older waitress and a polite waiter in a white shirt and red tie served us. He was the first to wish us a good day. Hotel has great potential.

Nice location for the hotel. Not so much for the bedroom which opened to the public toilets for the hotel. Why would you put a room there or just locate the toilets elsewhere? The staff were very mixed. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Others not so! The barman was so surly and refused to accept the same Mastercard used to secure the hotel room because he couldn't see the signature on the back of the card (maybe he needs glasses and/or a better attitude). Some of the breakfast serving staff felt it was our honor to wait for them to saunter over after 20 minutes to take the order, in a room full of 4 people. I've stayed here before and it was much better. For sure I won't stay again.

Only stayed the one night but would recommend this hotel. Rooms were clean, staff friendly, food good and very close to the beach.
