We stayed for three nights, arriving Friday, leaving Monday. This was a very good thing because, not the hotel's fault, there were some serious roadworks going on in the pedestrianised area immediately below our window. We only experienced them on Monday morning before leaving. Also not the hotel's fault, but worth knowing before you book (ask for a rear-facing room, I would have, if I'd known), there is a loose metal bridging plate in the gap between the pavement and the road just below, and it clanks loudly EVERY SINGLE TIME anyone steps on it, which is very frequent. I wonder if anyone has asked the council to fix this. It must disturb very many people and I don't think it's related to the roadworks. Positives about the hotel: - the staff were all friendly and helpful. One of our cases was carried up to our second floor room for us, because there is no lift, which we did know about. - there is an abundance of electric and USB sockets in the room. - the room seemed clean. - we asked for no de-caff coffee sachets and this was noted and we got extra regular ones every day. - there is a guest car park, which is excellent for a city centre hotel. Less positive: - single ply toilet paper is always a false economy because you just use more. We have encountered this on cruise ships and understand the logic there, but I doubt this hotel is contending with similar sewage disposal issues. - there is insufficient wall hanging space (none at all in the bedroom). Second time staying here and will do so again soon. Great hotel with the best parking right in the middle of Truro.

Very friendly and helpful staff , breakfast very good for a continental style and hot choices available at extra cost. Parking very good and free to use, easy check in and out. One small note, the rooms are on the upper levels so if you have mobility issues best to contact the hotel first . Brilliant location right in the heart of Truro. Will be staying again.

Hotel is lovely , staff very friendly and professional. Breakfast? Saturday morning breakfast between 7.30-9.30 am, which is fine , only when we came in to have breakfast the wait was five minutes to be seated , no hot water no coffee , then told they were clearing the buffet away in 5 minutes people were still coming in for breakfast at the dead line 9.30 am , but they were packing away the food ??? Usually 9.30 or the time your told is the latest to be seated not they pack up the food ???? Never come across this anywhere before . So what guests should be told is there is no breakfast after 9.30 so don’t bothered coming in at 9.30 am . Very disappointing.

A great stay, helpful staff, but why only supply one towel for a double occupancy room?
