This 16th Century Castle is steeped in character and enjoys panoramic views over Liverpool Bay and Leasowe Golf Course. Leasowe Castle was built in 1592 and now houses the recently opened Star Chamber Restaurant on the ground floor. Star Chamber is the focal point of the Hotel, with its feature Gold Star Leaf Ceilings, extracted from the Houses of Parliament, that dates back over 400 years and walls, that have the original transcripts inscribed on the panels. This feature Restaurant, provides an atmospheric fine dining experience and is complimented by our quality Kitchen staff, who are on hand to meet your needs. In addition to the Restaurant, the Castle enjoys a stylish Bar & Bistro area, which overlooks a manicured garden. There is also the new addition of "Knights" Tapas & Cocktail Bar Lounge. All 44 Bedrooms, enjoy modern comforts with En-suite facilities, tea / coffee making facilities, hair-dryers and large Flat Screen TV's, free Wifi. No heating it was broken given a heater that kept tripping the electric so it was freezing we had no television and could not make ourseleves a cup of tea in the morning

As the title says, we arrived to no heating, the staff had out a portable heater in the room though, despite having a TV the remote didn’t work at all so it wasn’t watchable. The next morning we woke up to no water in the shower or any of the taps. After speaking to the young lady behind the desk about the issues I was told a manager would call me back the next day to discuss, 3 days late I’ve just called back and there is still no manager in to deal with it. If I’m being picky then there were other issues such as the iron not working, and the room being described as having a king bed on Hotels.com but there was only a double in the room. The young staff members on were very friendly though and clearly meant well, the place just isn’t getting looked after properly which is a shame as it used to be such a nice venue.

No hot water for shower in the morning. Had to wait for a long time at check in desk before anyone appeared to check me in.
