Our stay at the Alexandra Hotel did not meet our expectations. The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures. Half of the gym equipment is broken. The bed was rock hard, worn out and the taps in the bathroom were full of lime which was really nasty. There were black spots on the shower walls that looked like they had been there for a long time. The breakfast was mid. I wasn’t too fond of the cleanliness at this hotel at all. Some of the staff were nice and helpful, but others were rude. For example we asked the bar staff on the roof top pool why the music they had put on the speaker kept cutting off. The staff then said ”what do you think we have, premium?” in quite harsh way. It was just a very rude way to go about it all, especially since we’re paying customers who are staying at this hotel. Overall I would absolutely not recommend staying at this hotel. It was definitely overpriced compared to our experience of the stay.

Séjour de 8 jours au Alexandra hôtel. L'hôtel est très bien placé, surtout pour les personnes qui souhaitent profiter de la vie nocturne. Également une plage (rochers) à 5min à pied. Les 2 piscines, intérieure et extérieure, sont très agréables, avec le bar au niveau de la piscine extérieure. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Rien à dire. En revanche pour la chambre certaines choses laissaient à désirer, surtout au vu du prix de la nuit. Le ménage à notre arrivée était plus que moyen, et les passages dans la journée n’étaient pas mieux (sols poussiéreux, lavabo de salle de bain sale, brosse des toilettes qui se passe de commentaires…). Les portes de douche ne fermaient pas car déformées. Plusieurs fois après le passage du ménage dans la chambre nous nous retrouvions avec une serviette manquante et plus de tapis de bain. Obligé de descendre à l’accueil demander le nécessaire. Nous avons eu 3 fois l’alarme incendie qui s’est déclenchée en 8 jours. Peut être pas de leur ressort, peut être juste un bug de l’installation mais quand même… une fois a 3h du matin, une fois a minuit et une fois dans l’après midi. Très moyen. La climatisation fonctionne mais il faut bien la booster si vous voulez qu’elle rafraîchisse bien la pièce. Le personnel de l’hôtel est très agréable, rien à dire. Dans l’ensemble un bon hôtel mais certains points qui nous ont dérangé au vu des tarifs et étant donné que c’est un hôtel 3 étoiles.

The room we had for this hotel was fantastic. Lots of storage, a spotlessly clean room and bathroom with a balcony that had views out over the sea. The pool area on the basement level has a gym attached and it was spacious. The breakfast offering in the morning was good and there was plenty of food choices to choose from. One thing which was not explained to us at reception was the towel card which embarrassingly we then had to go back upstairs to our room to collect it otherwise there would have been a surcharge. Other than that minor blip, it was a great stay and would recommend to family and friends. Thank you.
