This is a lovely place to stay in La Jolla Shores. I’ve stayed here 7 times in 7 years and always find the people running it to be helpful and friendly. It’s not fancy and not super polished, but the location can’t be beat.

Very charming setting, with a nice little pool and good privacy. The room was spacious and the kitchen was useful and appreciated. The parking was handy in an area where there was a lot of pressure on parking. The only real problem was no AC. Our room really heated up during the day and was only comfortable in the morning hours.

The room was super clean. But there is no ac unit. The floor length blind panels kept falling off of the rod at random times during the night. Parking is rough. I was told to park in 2 different specific spots but there were already cars in them. Was not charged for parking. Great location to walk to the beach or restaurants and small shops. Pool closes early 8pm.

It is a wonderful location walking distance to the beach and the nearby restaurants. The gentleman at the front desk / lobby office was FANTASTIC!!! Parking is limited and first come first serve. Our room did not have A/C (the hotel let us know as soon as we booked the room) but it has ceiling fans and two additional fans. It was around mid 70's low 80's in July but we were ok with the fans alone. It has a small pool which closes at 8pm. If you want to be close to the beach for a reasonable price this is a wonderful choice!
