Gorgeous site and view. Getting into road to condo was a bit tricky. Expedia said there was a sofa bed in the condo but it was just a couch, so luckily there was a day bed to sleep on. Great family vacation get together!! Close to pool and beach

Views were AMAZING! Walk to Kapalua Bay, easy! Super peaceful and quiet resort, expect a very windy stay, anything north of black rock is windy. We stayed on the ridge part of these condos. The okay review is because the place was listed with central air, double beds in second bed, 2 patios with furniture…no central air, wall units which never cooled off in the main living area, ever, 2 of our kids couldn’t sleep in the main room so they ended up in our room. The second room has twin beds not double, the patio off the main bedroom had doors that would not open, stuck. Dead cockroach in the second bedroom, open garbages, expect ants-bugs are expected, been going to Maui for years, that amount of bugs inside was a first. Decor is so pretty but light switches are either dated or dirty, curtains are not great, some fans didn’t work, no lids for pans, head of the shower started spraying all over the main bathroom, SUPER hot water but the minute you set the shower it’s impossible to regulate the temperature, little things started to add up. Main bedroom and second bedroom stayed nice and cool! Beds were comfortable, enough towels for 6 people, nothing dries in the condo so expect to use the dryer often. A clean place to clean up, cool off and sleep is our priority. I would stay at Kapalua again but work definitely dig deeper into the unit we are renting.

Our family spent the initial night in the 1st unit. The unit was warm when we arrived as the AC unit was struggling to cool down each room. This is a very old unit which needs to be updated in my opinion before being offered as a premium vacation rental. Paneling on almost all doors was peeling off and there were 2 large bolts sticking out of the wall in the living room where it appears there was a picture missing. Bit of an unpleasant odor coming from the kitchen area. Almost all knives in butcher block showed significant rust and were not used. For some reason there were also 2 refrigerators in this unit. Contacted management the following day and was given the option to move to a 2nd unit which was much better. This appeared to be an updated unit with AC units with sufficient cooling for each room. We did however find 2 dead cockroaches but this unit was by far better than the first unit.

Villa was really nice. Rooms were really clean. It was nice they had a kitchen and laundry room included. View was beautiful. Near beach access.

This property faced the ocean. Every morning was a treat to the senses— so beautiful seeing the waves crashing on the shore. An added plus was the serenity of the location. No crowds at all. A perfect Hawaiian vacation. One drawback was the walk to the beach. It was about 1/2 mile. And the condo had parking which was kinda of a long walk. But it had an excellent walking trails. We went for daily walk to burn off the extra calories. I would definitely return to Kapalua.
