The room layout was great, especially convenient for our needs. Every staff member we encountered was very helpful and friendly. We did experience a few maintenance issues during our stay. However, those were taken care of within a timely fashion. (TV and two of the three sinks needed repairs.) The TV was addressed immediately. The sinks did not impact our comfortable sleep and were dealt with while we were out the following day. The first morning we had a great, full, hot breakfast. However, day two, the staff member that was supposed to run the breakfast didn't call or come in. This left the staff trying to get a minimal breakfast and try to run check in/out at the same time. Being beyond their control, we think they did a pretty good job of making everything run smoothly and with a smile. Thank you to the staff members that went above and beyond to make our stay great, in spite of the extras.

The fourth room was a charm. We checked in and got our room, when we went inside we were pleased until we found out the A/C didn’t work. Went back to desk and got another room, we were on first floor new room was on 3rd floor. Opened door and the smell hit us and there was a large carpet fan trying to dry bedroom area carpet. Husband called front desk and then went back. Came back with another key to a room a few doors down with dirty sheets in front of the door(at least I knew they were changed) open the door and a small carpet fan was drying the carpet by the sofa and the sofa was pretty worn in this one. I went to get a towel to put on the sofa to sit on it and all the towels were pretty damp, definitely not dry. Keep in mind that I am in town for a knee replacement the next day. So…. Got another room back down on the first floor and it was an upgrade. This room was good. Everything worked and was clean. It was a journey but we got there. I hate writing this stuff but it was a hassle for me to walk around trying to get a room. Front desk was nice and did everything they could. I believe there must be a communication problem with maintenance.

The room was very clean and spacious. The grounds were neat and in order. Had a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was top notch and the breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel! Good quality and variety of items, both hot and cold. The waffle bar with toppings was awesome! Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the Montgomery area!

The location is excellent, very quiet and close to a Walmart and shopping center less than five minutes. The issue was every single time we went to the front desk for anything, there was no one there. When we first arrived to check-in, the worker was not there. After waiting for over 10 minutes we found a maintenance guy who called for the front desk staff and was unable to get a hold of him. I joked that he was maybe partying in the pool with guests and he found him out at the pool speaking to hotel guests. Not an issue if it occurred once but each time we went to the front desk there was no one there. Stayed for 6 days and had our room cleaned one time, Room had two tvs and the tv in the living room volume did not work during our entire stay. Each time we went to the front desk to swap out our dirty towels for clean ones when we did not receive housekeeping, there was no one at the desk. We were told towards the end of our stay by one of the employees that the hotel was severly understaffed and was aware of guests complaints of lack of service. That made sense since the first two days had exterior trash cans overflowing with trash for a couple of days. The shining star was the breakfast buffet and the staff that prepared the food were friendly and great to speak to.

Just remember patience and kindness goes a long way. The staff was very helpful and kept their professional composure with every guest encounter.
