The room was good for the price, and staff cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was in a separate building across the car park, but I found this less than adequate. How can anyone ruin scrambled eggs on toast to that extent!

Good sized comfortable room? warm amd quiet emough, batjroom nice witj good size walk in shower. Discount at restaurant was a nice touch (although only on restaurant side and not bar despite whar room card says) Breakfast in same restaurant was really nice and reasonably priced. Would stay again

Travelled for business and chose this hotel as it looked good on paper. We were only there to eat & sleep because of the long work days. The shower was the most disappointing with fluctuating hot water ( either too hot or cold) With the worst shower pressure! Restaurant stopped serving food at 8, which I should have read clearly but because I looked at opening times and not food serving times, we missed food serving on the second night because we got there just after 8! In all, not a great stay, no lift, poor service & a restaurant which shuts too early for business use.

This was a pleasant surprise. Thoroughly modern hotel with great facilities. Damon’s diner restaurant serves excellent food and you get a 15% discount as a hotel guest. A hidden gem!
