Open plattegrondstudio in Girdwood. Kleine maar open, gewelfde plafonds geven het een veel groter gevoel. Het is ideaal voor een romantisch weekendje weg met één stel. Geschikt voor een klein gezin van vier, ook geschikt voor twee koppels of een combinatie van mensen die dichtbij zijn. Het is gelegen aan een kleine lusweg aan de voet van Max's Mountain. Omringd door de gigantische Hemlock-bomen die lokaal zijn in dit deel van de Chugach Forrest. Het is een zeer rustige locatie en biedt een fantastische nachtrust. Eigen vervoer is aan te bevelen, 4-wiel is noodzakelijk op een besneeuwde winterdag. Veel geweldige restaurants in de omgeving, of de keuken is klaar om een gastronomische maaltijd te bereiden. Veel geweldige wandelingen in de omgeving. Virgin Creek trail head is super dichtbij. Mountainbiken, kajakken, paddleboarden zijn populaire zomeractiviteiten. Alpine en Nordic skiën, vet banden fietsen in de winter. dit huisje ligt in de wijk Alyeska in Girdwood. Crow Creek Mine en Indian Valley Mine zijn twee lokale bezienswaardigheden. Andere attracties in de omgeving zijn bijvoorbeeld Girdwood Center for Visual Arts en Sound Paddler.

The unit is well located. It’s away from center of town and yet convenient to it so it’s more peaceful and quiet. The unit is well equipped so it would be easy to cook a good meal here if you wanted to. We didn’t as we found good eats in town. Host is super responsive and helpful.

We loved our stay in a "crow nest" (because of the long staircase up the second floor)!Loved the hot shower, clean and very well stocked kitchen, great mattresses (you sink a bit, but very comfortable).You could even sit outside at the entrance if you carry out dinner high chairs - no mosquitos! Thank you!!

Great, well priced place to stay in the heart of Girdwood. There are two flights of stairs to get up to it which is no problem but something to think about if you have a lot of luggage. The remodeled bathroom/shower was FANTASTIC but would have been nice to have a door (there is just a curtain) or a fan. Stays cool and is quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. SUPER COMFORTABLE bed!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The house was clean, cozy, and probably the most well-stocked VRBO we have ever visited! The location was private, quiet, and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The owner, Eric, supplied the home with so many items, particularly in the kitchen. Cooking utensils, pots, pans, even things like cooking spray, spices, and water bottles. We were very impressed! Highly recommend this little slice of heaven!
