A great stay and nice hotel. There was only one problem. We wanted to use the pool as a family but we were unable to use as my children under 18 and we chose the hotel as it had a pool. I appreciate the hotel policy but I do feel it is a little archaic and the policy should read those under 18 should be accompanied by an adult and behaviour should be appropriate. Note to self check directly with hotel before booking

The hotel is stunning and the staff were welcoming and helpful with everything, room was clean and fresh and the range of breakfast options was excellent

Hotel parking adequate but missing any charging facilities. Check-in and check out process quick and easy, room was ok, two single mattress to make large king made the size nice but a little uncomfortable in the centre. Shower good but shower tray too shallow resulting in very wet bathroom floor. Only other negative, very little sound proofing between room and corridor and very loud banging doors, as the hotel was a little quiet we got away with it, but busy times can imagine it being very disruptive. Oranges Restaurant operated very condensed menu, food was nice and well priced although atmosphere very poor/cold with white lights and loud music. Bar staff great although very poorly maintained/stocked, both nights draught beer having different problems or out of stock. Spa was nice although again in need of maintenance. Again some attention to atmosphere needed with different lighting and music to bring in line with other similar experiences/hotels. Overall not bad for price but unlikely to stay again.
