Un court trajet en voiture vous mènera à l'université de Yale, à la rivière Connecticut, au château de Gillette, à l'Opéra Goodspeed, au port maritime Mystic et à de nombreux autres sites d'intérêt du Connecticut. Cette maison de vacances vous donne rendez-vous à Guilford, plus précisément sur la plage. Faites le plein de culture en visitant les emblématiques Musée vivant Hyland House Museum et Maison musée Henry Whitfield State Museum, ou passez par les sympathiques Verger et domaine viticole Bishop's Orchards et Rose Vineyards pour vous éclater le temps d'un après-midi. The home was spotless when we arrived and exceptionally well maintained. It was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed to feel at home from the moment we walked in. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and every space was thoughtfully organized.The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants, shops, and everything the Connecticut shoreline has to offer. It was the ideal place to unwind while still being convenient to local attractions.Communication with the owner was outstanding from start to finish. They were responsive, friendly, and provided clear instructions, making check-in and check-out effortless. It was obvious they genuinely care about their guests’ experience.Clean, comfortable, well located, and hosted by wonderful owners. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this beach cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, enjoyable vacation.

Lovely location. Several problems emerged due to deferred maintenance. A dining room chair fell apart while someone was sitting in it. One door closure fell apart. A second floor window would not close as a hurricane passed through. I was advised to “all you have to do is tie a string around it and tie it shut”. Many windows would not close with the handle and required two people to close- one inside turning the handle while another on the outside pushed on the window. The owner did not see a problem with any of this and just minimized the concerns as “it’s just an old house”

We had a wonderful vacation! The weather was perfect all week long, and the ocean view was stunning. The house was clean and well cared for. The only drawbacks were the kayaks were unusable, as were the two beach chairs, and the walk to the beach was longer than we anticipated. But overall, we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful and relaxing views from the house. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Chill vibe. The house is clean, comfortable and has all of the needed amenities. We would have liked more sunny days but still had an amazing time! Would love to return during the hotter months.
