Single room was small but clean & had everything needed. Quiet in the room which was great as I was concerned about being able to hear the show bar. Parking is £9 for 24 hours, even for guests, would be nice to have an overnight only option for parking. Overall, I would recommend :)

Jeg havde en rigtig rar uge på Riviera hotel, da jeg kom sent om lørdagen, efter forsinkelse med tog og fly, der tvang mig til og komme med en uber, der var ret dyr, men personalet var rare og forstående! Det var nemt og checke ind, og så længe man har styr på at have sine fysiske kort med, som kørekort eller ligende til identifikationskontrol, så er personalet meget effektivt og hurtig til og checke dig ind, og informere dig om opholdet, plus du selvfølgelig altid kan spørge! 😉 Selve bygningen og mit værelse var rent, vedligeholdt og rart og opholde sig på, når man havde brug for at trække sig, samt jeg havde en følelse af, at de andre gæster der boede ved siden af en, de havde en rar respekt for ens tilstedeværelse og måden man opføre sig på omkring andre! Baren og den indendørs pool fik jeg ikke rigtig brugt, da jeg havde travlt med og udforske Torquay og nærområdet som er virkelig smukt, plus hotellet og udsigten!

The rooms where clean but very dated, plaster was peeling on ceilings, was only there for one night so was ok, wouldn’t have wanted to have been in the room we had for a week, on the plus side the buffet breakfast was well worth the money

For the price it met my expectations, basic but everything you need room wise. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular. The building itself was a complete rabbit warren. To access my room it was basically a maze - up, down, turn right, down, turn than up 4 floors, over the other side then down again. Total mess of a floor plan. I can only assume that wasn’t on purpose and just expanded room by room - but ultimately equals a total nightmare to navigate. Parking was excellent. Plenty of room and only £9 per 24h - which I thought was great value. Well positioned hotel for the sea front - only a couple mins walk and you’re there. Room was incredibly hot, heated flooring in bathroom was not a welcome addition in a heatwave. No air con, but they do leave a little fan in the room - not that it helped in heatwave temps. Overall, not a bad place. You get what you pay for, expect to get exactly the value back as the room rate charged and you won’t be disappointed. Basic but absolutely fine.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was not maintained to an acceptable standard. There was mould on the ceiling, the carpet was dirty, and the fan did not work properly, making the room extremely hot. There was also an unpleasant smell throughout the room. In addition, there were not enough power sockets to charge devices, and the Wi-Fi did not work in the room at all. Overall, the room was uncomfortable, and the facilities did not match my expectations. I hope the hotel addresses these issues so future guests can have a better experience.
