We stayed at mount Lavinia on the 28th August to the 30th August. The room we thought we booked on the website was not the room we got, if it had been the room we had seen it would have been ok. But there was a smell in the wardrobe we couldn’t put our clothes in it, the kettles spout was dirty and needed cleaning it looked awful. The only good thing was the bed it was clean fresh and good mattress. A very basic room straight out onto the parking bays. We wouldn’t have minded if we were told the truth about the room we got but trying to sell us the last room left. And covering it up by not showing the original photo is misleading the customer. We wouldn’t have booked it.!!!! Bathroom clean toilet clean but I’ve never stayed in a room with a plug in to try and hide the smell that’s not good. We saw the original room on Saturday morning that we should have had, the couple left early, so we got to see it, if you like very basic that’s ok for the price we payed, we expected it to be a bit more better. I’m a disabled traveler and it’s not a good way to start your break away, oh breakfast was plenty of choice cereals. Toast tea coffee, patisserie cakes . Only one thing to say here. All our small jam jars were over flowing sticky. Running down all the sides. But it was what it was.

Key box on arrival. Simple and efficient. Room clean tidy and pleasant. Buffet breakfast had a good variety. Entrance to parking small, but enough spaces.

My room was on the ground floor right next to the entrance and a lounge which I think was for the staff. It was very noisy! The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. The room was very nice and there was a good breakfast selection. I’m not sure I would stay there again though.

The continental breakfast was pleantyful and varied,the room was spacious and clean and came with tea and coffee making facilities. The decor in the property in general was a little jaded but overall it was a fair price for what was in offer.

Very friendly - helpful and welcoming staff Bed was really comfortable - we slept very well Parking was good behind the property and off the road
