Lovely position near the sea front. Shore easily reached with short stroll down the road and then some steps or steps straight from the hotel bar. Room comfortable. Plenty of parking.

Lovely staff, super friendly. Great location. The sofa bed in the family room could do with replacing but was fine for our 4 year old as he didn’t reach the end! Explored gorleston and Yarmouth on our little break and was a great base. Terrace overlooking the sea lovely for an evening drink! Breakfast was included which we didn’t realise, and was also lovely!

Hotel is quite dated, the bar and restaurant is very nice, but the rooms not so much. The room wasn’t terribly dirty, but few ants, and a few marks on the tables, bathroom bedding etc. which were wiped away easily enough, but just as a whole felt a bit run down, lack of care. The balcony’s are not great, rusty old furniture, looking over mostly a deteriorating building top or kitchen Vents. Could have tried to put a fence around the vents or some garden wall or something just to make it pleasant at least. We chose not to sit out there at all. Staff wasn’t overly helpful, I appreciate the check in times are there for a reason and was ok with being told we couldn’t check in one hour early. But even when we turned up 6 minutes early, we was told to go and wait somewhere until the minute to check in. The check in itself took approx 10mins so was that 6 mins early was really not going to make any difference. We also later found that the room had been ready for a long while before so a little disappointing that there is zero flexibility there. The toilet seat was broken, whilst it wasn’t urgent for us to be fixed receptionist laughed, and said she’ll have to call to the maintenance guy back to work to check. Feeling like it was a bit inconvenient for them, we decided to just say leave it but we’re letting you know it’s broken. Would happily visit the bar/restaurant again, the staff was nice, and it was modern and felt nice to be there, the hotel though, I wouldn’t.
