The place was easy to find and check in. As described, located within reasonably short walking distance to main attractions, restaurants and bars and the bus station. It’s a simple apartment with nothing special. Relatively big though. The area is not very attractive in sense of cleanliness (overloaded trash bins that haven’t been serviced for some time) and street lights - difficult to see at night.

We actually didn’t get to stay at the Astera Apart Hotel due to a technical issue but the Manager met us at the Hotel and made quick arrangements for us to stay at a one bedroom apartment at the Urban Hostel and Apartments nearby. The Manager at that establishment met us at the Astera Apart Hotel reception and helped carry our luggage down the street and got us settled in. All cost were covered and we had a wonderful time. The Manager even messaged us letting us know that the next time we are visiting we have a free room available. The way in which these two Managers handled the situation is a true testament of the people of Skopje and North Macedonia.
