this hotel, which also has its own café with a great focus on coffee. The traditional interior was full of charm and something we really appreciated. Breakfast was perfect – it had everything you needed without being too much. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed breakfast with a beautiful view over Stone Town. The location was also spot on, making it easy to explore Stone Town. Overall, a really charming hotel with lots of character.

This hotel was very nice. What comes to mind is quaint. The staff was airing and attentive. The location made it a little difficult to get your luggage in and out, but we managed. We would stay there again. It was close to the markets, making it a plus. The tours were outstanding. Zanzibar was a place to make memories.

The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. The property is very old but had character. My stay was very pleasant and I loved being in the heart of Stonetown.

room was clean staff was helpful and friendly breakfast was good.Air condition needs improvement , Difficult getting taxis when leaving the hotel, need to walk to the road with someone who can help guide you to a taxi

A hotel of beautiful traditional architecture with stunning decor throughout. Its location in Stone Town made it convenient to the main tourist sites and the boat to Prison Island . Despite the heat a well functioning air conditioner made the beautiful room very comfortable. Lovely breakfasts and delicious cakes and of course coffee for afternoon tea.
