Sugarhouse is the perfect platform to explore Yangshuo and the surrounding area. It is not city center but a sanctuary after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Went with family and the pool was amazing. We spent hours there meeting new people and enjoying the views.

Amazing hotel with a unique sense of vibe and scenery. A bit pricey but well worth the experience in my opinion. I'm from Singapore and stayed there with my family, not really for young children though.

The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly and it was a lovely stay. Only negative comment was the sound proofing in the rooms wasn’t great. You could hear the traffic and door banging.

Unbeatable location with incredible views. A quick taxi ride to West Street but lovely and tranquil away from the hubbub. A beautiful and interesting and very well designed property. The staff were all warm and friendly and welcoming. Excellent high quality breakfast in a beautiful setting. I definitely recommend this hotel as the place to stay in Yangshuo, especially if you prefer to share a space with like-minded independent travelers.

From the moment arriving at Yangshuo Sugar House we were instantly charmed. The architecture is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and attentive, and every building is photogenic. You never get tired of the views, food was perhaps the best we've had in all of China, and the spa is exceptional. Loved the activities too, like rock climbing and bamboo raft on the Li River. Tip: Honestly, do activities around Yangshuo and Guilin before arriving because once you’re at Sugar House you won’t want to leave!
