The rooms were cleaned however the carpet was damp. The staff entered my room to clean without any knock.. could use more detailed cleaning

The room was clean, but the 12 floor has a mildrew smell. The ocean view is spectacular. The food at the surf grill was not okay.

Housekeeping entered my room before I had checked out and stole all of the items that we still had left in the room. When confronted, they stated that they didn't know we hadn't checked out (even after submitting online form that stated what time we would be checking out and had not checked out at front desk) so they apparently just knock, no one answers, they open door and see a green bag full of items and still enter the room and proceed to take all of our items left in the room and hide them on the housekeeping cart and inside their personal black backpack. Manager on duty, Dawn Wheeler, had "already left for the day" when I tried to speak with someone later in day after our event had ended.

Our room was clean and the view was amazing. Was disappointed that they are advertised as being dog friendly but still charge for emotional support animals with appropriate paperwork and they required an extra cost to clean due to the type of room.

Staff was awesome, especially the woman with the long dark hair at the front desk, and the blond woman who works day shift at the restaurant (ponytail, has a bandage on her face) who remembered the name of my dog and brought him dog treats and me a cup of coffee before we were even seated. Room was very clean, view was even better than advertised. Food was very good, and the prices, especially at happy hour, were quite reasonable. I didn't realize how far away you are from the "action" when I booked, and this could be a real draw for some people, and I did enjoy how peaceful the beach was at night. I just wish the bar/restaurant was open later than 9:00 since it's like 30 blocks to the next closest place. Otherwise 10/10. Would recommend and book again.
