Great hotel with easy access to local attractions/walks and the bus service to Bray station to get the Dart train to Dublin was so easy. The hotel was very clean and our room was a great size with amazing water pressure for showering. All the staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was incredible ; lots of choice and very tasty cooked items. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would go back!!

Have stayed here many times over the years, staff are brilliant - breakfast was and always is top notch. The hotel could do with a small refurb, especially within the rooms - bit more mod cons required

Although this is quite a plain hotel with ageing decor, my room was an excellent size, large with a comfy bed, the bathroom shower had hot water with good water pressure, the window had curtains and blackout curtains. The hotel is in a quiet location with good parking. The breakfast buffet was excellent, a full choice of everything you would expect and good quality. The staff are friendly. In the evenings they have a good well-stocked bar and lounge with a reasonable food menu. I ate there once and the food was excellent. The hotel is too far out of the town centre to walk, but the L1 and L2 buses run very frequently and provide a good service.

I don't usually like leaving negative reviews, so I'll start with the positives. The hotel is really easy to drive to with plenty of parking, it's nice and quiet, and it's not too far from the centre of Bray. Breakfast was also really good with plenty of choice and set us up nicely for the day.. Unfortunately, the bathroom was disgusting. There was a large rusty scratch in the bath, mould covering the silicone and grout, and the shower head was thick with mould and limescale. When I turned it on, water only came out of a couple of holes, so I didn't use it. The toilet was also so close to the wall that my husband had to sit on it sideways and the light directly above my head in the bath flickered constantly while I was in there, so it was far from relaxing. The bed was a good size, but the pillows were incredibly thin and lumpy. On the 2nd night we asked for 2 more and the staff brought them very quickly, which did make the bed slightly more comfortable. We ate at the hotel on the 1st night after a long day, but unfortunately the food was very basic. It filled us up, but I honestly wished we'd made the effort to go elsewhere. The bedroom lighting was also strange, either one very bright white ceiling light or three lamps that were so dim they were barely useful, with nothing in between.

Sadly I did not like the location nor the bar and restaurant area. Room and bathroom was very nice, staff were lovely.
