What to add, it’s a Greens King next to a pub. It’s the only place I’ve stayed in the last 10 years that still uses a physical key - there’s no fridge, no mini-bar, no walk-in shower, the hair-dryer has all the puff of a wheezy octagenarian tortoise after a heavy night out and the decor hasn’t been refreshed since electric candle light was ‘classy’. Having said that, the bed was comfy, the cooked breakfast was OK but I’ve had more varied continentals on a budget trip to Majorca at £9 a throw - and that sofa looked as unhygienic as London Underground seat the morning after a rowdy nudist all-nighter 4/10

Great welcome when we arrived. Room was clean. Hotel is perhaps a bit tired / dated but all the staff we dealt with were fab and lunch / breakfast were great. Really good value for a one night stay. Would visit again.

The staff were very helpful, so check-in was easy. The room was clean and there is free parking. Breakfast was good with options of freshly made meals. Dinner was good too!

Good value for workers looking for overnight accommodation, no frills and needs modernisation, but in this area good for the price, however would not use for leisure,
