A Nice View, but Room for Improvement We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon. While the view was lovely, the overall experience could have been better. Despite informing the hotel that we were on our honeymoon, no special touch or complimentary honeymoon amenity was provided. Of course, such gestures are not mandatory, but they would have been a lovely way to make the occasion feel more special. The room had two separate beds pushed together. I did not make an issue of this during our stay, but I believe guests should be informed in advance when this is the arrangement, especially for a honeymoon booking. There were also some maintenance and amenity issues in the room. The shower was leaking, cotton pads were not provided, and there was no complimentary bottled water. The beautiful view was definitely a plus, but better attention to room maintenance, basic amenities and guest expectations would make a significant difference. With a little more attention to detail, the overall experience could be much better.

My party of 4 travelers each had our own separate rooms. My room had no deficiencies & no one else mentioned or complained about any problems in their rooms. My bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit too thick/firm. It would have been nice if instead of 4 copies of the same pillow there had been pillows a little thinner/softer available to use or mix/match with the firmer variety. Not a show-stopper, just something to mention. Breakfast in the winery offered a good variety of foods & the space was also was sparkling clean & comfortable. It's located a short downhill walk from the streets along the lakeside so it was easy to get to where the action was, yet quiet at night.

Nice little boutique hotel. Located in the old town with no car access so we had a hard time with our luggage but the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us. There is no elevator and there are steep stairs to the room - a bit difficult for adults although we managed in the end. Quiet location, we had a balcony with a view and we really enjoyed it.

We stayed here with higher expectations. Upon arrival and check in we dropped off our bags and went upon our visit. The worst part was returning back to our room. Still trying to figure out, what makes this place a 4 star stay. Our room had no shampoo and no shower gel in the containers. We couldn’t find anyone at the front desk to ask for these items because there wasn’t anyone past a certain time (this was at 10pm). The shower leaked from all corners as it was not sealed properly so we had wet towels on the floor the entire stay. The bed was also incredibly bouncy, squeaky and uncomfortable so we had one of the worst sleeps in our last month of traveling across Europe.
