We loved this hotel! We stayed our first 2 nights in Cusco while acclimating before the Inca Trail. It was perfect! We did the Ceviche and Pisco Sour classes with Elizabeth and Jorge. They were so fun....both the classes and the staff! The breakfast was delicious and had such a variety! Of course Kiki provided lots of entertainment. There was filtered water and tea in the lobby. The rooms were clean and cozy. It was a great location, the showers were warm. There is literally nothing we could complain about! It was a great stay and our favorite hotel of the trip!

The location of the hotel is very good in the historical town. Very near the S.Pedro train station and the market ( only 5 min walk). We arrived late and departed very early both nights. We did not experience the daily activities or the breakfast. Anel at the receptionist, was extremely helpfull to us, and for that we are very grateful her and all the staff at the Union hotel. The rooms are basic, but served our purpose very adequately.

We had six nights at the Union Hotel Cusco and so were very grateful for a room that was really spacious, so we could fully unpack. The bedroom itself was really large but would benefit from additional storage: the wardrobe was fine for hanging items but there weren't any drawers so most of our stuff was out on the long table/desk area opposite the bed. The bathroom was clean, with a shower over the bath, but unfortunately there were problems with hot water availability. When we were up early for a 7am tour pickup, the water was hot; on two days where we were up later, the water was tepid at best, even after letting it run for 7 or 8 minutes as advised. We were told on the first occasion that it was being fixed, but I suspect this is more a capacity issue than anything else, and something the hotel really needs to address. We also found the wifi to be patchy; the connection would drop out regularly, sometimes reconnecting and working for a while but not really very reliable. Again, this needs to be addressed as at least for us, Claro coverage wasn't great either so we found ourselves struggling to connect. Breakfast was good, with really friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps there could be a little more choice at the buffet, but the omelettes were good and the waffles looked great. Finally, the location is really convenient for San Pedro market and station (both a 3 min walk down the hill) and an easy stroll to Plaza San Francisco and Plaza Mayor (about 5-10 mins' walk).

Hello, the room was spacy, two beds, a desk one and a half meter long and a sofa. The bathroom had a rainshower that could be complemented with a vertical shower. A good breakfast with omelett to order. An inner plaza without roof. Three times a week two musicians performed music in the evening. In the evening you can be served dinner by friendly waitress Elizabeth. In the plaza the hotel cares for an alpaca. Here you will be very satisfied during your stay. /Sten.
