The hotel is really well placed in the village (of Mickleton, not Chipping Campden), near to shops. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and well priced. We sat in the garden for some drinks in the afternoon, which was really lovely. Comfy room and good clean bathroom. The breakfast was decent. Downsides: it’s an old property, so the stairs are narrow and might be difficult to navigate for guests with physical limitations. We had a really nice stay and would recommend.

Evening meals were exceptional A***** highly recommend. Overall condition of the room I’d say was tired, clean but in need of some TLC.

Fantastic fish and chips offer along with a great breakfast with the hash browns. It was our wedding anniversary though and, although notified in advance, there was nothing not even a note.
