It is a good hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is a small hotel. The outside is not renovated as much. The inside is simple yet clean. It is very close to the beach and you can walk on the beach most of the way to downtown La Jolla.

The staff was nice and the room clean. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach! The pool was very small so we didn't go in. The bed was on the soft side. It's a long walk to the village, but a good location if you just want to spend time at the beach. The room was okay. It has a motel-like feel to it but it was fairly spacious.

Very very low water pressure in the shower. The place looks clean at first glance, but everything is dusty and not well maintained. Way too overpriced.

The staff and rooms were very wonderful. Just a block away from the beautiful beach! I was disappointed in the parking. You pay an extra 15.00 a day for your car to park in the parking lot! The way it was disclosed to me was not exactly truthful before arrival so that was not favorable. So…if you stay there…just know to add on 15.00 a day for parking your car. Other than that, the hotel is nice and updated. It’s old and just basic amenities but quiet and nice.

The AC in our room would occasionally sound like jack hammer in the room when having to work really hard, it was so loud it would wake us up at 2 AM.
