Had a lovely couple of nights here on a work trip. The highlight for me was the welcome from Tom, he was super helpful and friendly. I will be making regular bookings here for definite!

Reception very friendly, room was exactly as pictured when booking, clean and had ironing board & iron in room without having to ask. Parking is charged as an extra (£10pn). Signage for room directions in corridors was scarce so night was continually disturbed with people outside in the corridor talking due to not knowing which way room was through the night. Doors are not soft close so doors slamming also. Fire alarms went off between 4-5am was not a restful sleep for work. Ate in the restaurant for dinner & breakfast both nice, tasty food, staff friendly & polite. Sustainable lighting and washing products were very nice.

Room was modern and very clean staff were friendly and made you feel welcome food was amazing gorgeous evening meal and breakfast can’t wait to go back

The hotel has recently been refurbished, and we thought they still are working on some areas, the welcome at reception was good but when it came to finding our room it was more than a little difficult, really could have done with a member of staff guiding us, the corridors were dimly light and the room numbers did not run concurrently, in fact our room did not have any signs guiding you to it at all, the room was okay but didn't have a luggage stand was small and the lighting was dim, the bed was comfortable but small, the dinner was good but the self service breakfast cool and the eggs and black pudding were rubbery, sorry but the experience was a bit of a let down and although the location was perfect for us and we will be returning to the area again,we won't be staying at the regency hotel, they may think about changing the name as it's certainly not regal 😞

Friendly staff and nice new bathroom. Place was lovely and clean. Quiet up on the 2nd floor.
