George was BRILLIANT!! Hats off & head bowed! Beds very comfortable! A bit of noise pollution though! Was really annoyed as we could not find tea cups/mugs. George gave me but he was surprised there were none in the room! Only to find 2 with teaspoons in the toilet! Very disgusting! I am a healthcare professional and understand infection control like the back of my hand....to see this, a thought came into my mind: where they cleaned in there and waiting to be put back into our room🙄🙄 SCARY😳😳 PLEASE tell George l said THANK YOU👏

Room was comfortable and clean, the window latch was broken but it had secondary glazing and the room was warm. We had trouble filling the kettle in the bathroom sink as it didnt fit in without being on its side so barely half full. We stayed over on a Saturday so the pub was full with people enjoying the music until midnight. The staff were excellent and friendly and welcoming with good amenities close by and dog friendly.

The staff were lovely and couldn't have been better. Our room had a bathroom across the hall which opened with a key. A little strange and not great for a 3am wee. We ate here and the food was ok.

A very disappointing stay. Broken window, dirty bedroom, very loud beer garden, bathroom down the corridor (there is no advice of this on hotels.com booking system nor a warning of how loud the noise is) Dirty coffee machine, knackered old mattress and even found nails on the mattress!!

Lovely triple room, not huge but big enough. Tea and coff3e making facilities. Lovely big bathroom and a nice shower.
