My room was lovely, spacious & fully modernised. I had issues with the lounge bar in terms of the food & the service. I only ordered a club sandwich but it took so long to arrive that I had to ask the staff why I have been waiting for about 40mins for just a sandwich. Also when my club sandwich arrived it was not what I expected of a club sandwich. The chicken was way too thick & not in ration to the other fillings. There was not the traditional 3 slices of bread but instead it was focaccia which does not suit this sandwich as once you bite into it all the filling runs out the back, very difficult to eat

Checking in was a smooth and helpful process. The ‘discount’ for the car park was not applied and I was overcharged. The stay was comfortable

We had an excellent stay at The Midland in Manchester. Our junior suite was spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented, and felt like a real treat. Everything about our stay was excellent, with lovely service and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The hotel’s central location also made it ideal for enjoying Manchester. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it.
