Very good value for money. Staff very friendly & helpful . Lots of maintenance needed in rooms and communal areas. Could do with better lighting by front door . Steps difficult to see in the dark

We stayed here as a group of golfers. We had rooms on the top floor which normally would be sea views however the scaffolding was still up completing the roof work so we had no view. Room was clean but had a lot of funny angles so I hit my head a few times. Breakfast was superb to be honest. Bar prices were also good. All in all it was a good few days but the hotel could do with some modernisation.

Hotel had nothing on hotel.com to show they were undergoing a refurbishment. Scaffold to the front blocking the sea view we had chosen. During the first night a fire alarm went off at 4am which caused a lot of issues due to the guests mainly being elderly luckily it was a false alarm but not sure how long it woukd have taken to get everyone out. The following day someone got stuck in a lift and fire brigade had to attend again. Restaurant staff were great and the foidxwas good. Hotel def needs money spending on it as to be fair the rooms looked like a poor man's premier inn. There was stains down the walls and furniture was very tired. Having stayed in another similar sized hotel down the road which is done to a higher spec I wouldn't return until refurbished work completed

Don’t think it was worth £115 for one night. Shower was small and hardly worked. Room was freezing and could not use the changing rooms in pool due to maintenance so would have had to walk through hotel in wet costumes.
