I stayed a few nights here for my brothers wedding, which was at The Dairy. The property is gorgeous! But as soon as I got there, the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. They really went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcomed. The rooms were gorgeous and very well kept. Dinner was stunning and I loved that I knew that some of the veg was from their garden! Breakfast each morning was so yummy and once again, the staff were happy to help in any way they can. It really made the event even more special! Thank you!

The inside of the property was really beautiful and tastefully done. The outside of the property needed a really good clean. Our room had an outdoor terrace which was unusable because it was dirty. The were cobwebs literally all over everything. It looked as though it hadn't been swept in a very long time and all surfaces were covered in dust. The same could be said of all external areas of the hotel. The front entrance to the property was also covered in cobwebs and every surface dusty. There was a beautiful sign outside the hotel, we could see this very clearly form our room - I t was also filthy.

A charming boutique Victorian hotel. Could really benefit from air conditioning, but appreciate that its not easy to do on an old listed building

The impersonal, staff less reception system was, whilst efficient for the hotel, rather off putting. It worked, but am not confident this does not put off other guests who have no prior knowledge of this until check in. I certainly had not been forewarned of this. The public areas look tired with threadbare carpets on stairs and landings, though our two luxe rooms were much better and in the main building there is no guest sitting room or bar that we saw. A pity though mercifully we had great weather so sat in the garden in later evening after eating elsewhere. Staff when present were efficient and polite.
