On the whole, the property lived up to expectations. The hot tub was a hit and the games room was a decent space for large groups. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining area was big enough. The rooms were clean. Communication wasn't great. I had to contact Vrbo to get the host to communicate with us as he didn't respond to my messages initially. Once they'd contacted him, the host was very prompt in his responses but not entirely helpful. The games room has been renovated and now does not have a dart board as advertised which we were disappointed with as we had planned on darts tournaments for the weekend. It's a small thing but it meant a lot to us as our friend requested a place with a dart board and I had asked the host beforehand if it had one. He told me that it did. Other niggles from our group were complaints of cold rooms, mouldy coffee in a pot, damp walls and the outside hot tub was cold and then couldn't be used. The place needs a bit of TLC. On the whole, we had a great time and I'm sure others would at this property too. I would recommend updated photos of the property are uploaded to the website and that the host take more care when responding to customers who have paid a lot of money to stay at the property.
