The room was wonderful but the low access to the street was noisy. The restaurant/bar is not on keeping with the room. The breakfast was lovely though!

Very pleasant room however, night time noise from a nearby KFC and boy racers in the early hours . The key fob to the room required resetting twice during our stay. The breakfast was excellent.

Room was nice being a pub you have expect to hear music. Bed rally comfortable and room was large. Nicely decorated.

Room was really nice and the staff were great, could do with a better fan then the one provided, luckily it wasn’t as hot as it has been recently!

No aircon, a fan that couldn’t move air 30cm in front of it, hot hot night. False fire alarm at 3am. But a rather rude check-in. I appreciate long days, warm weather may not be the most conducive to a warm reception. I paid mate, you weren’t doing me a favour! Breakfast was nice. But better options to choose from in Newbury!

I would strongly advise that they install air conditioning into the rooms. The rooms are beautiful but very unpleasant in hot conditions, which would discourage me from booking in the summer.
