Great location and hotel. My only disappointment was the quality of the produce used in breakfast. Not sure if the restaurant is owned by the hotel or just a partner, but felt it let the hotel down… eg orange juice out of a carton, even think the avocado was out of a tin! ( you know that off green, blackish tinged tasteless spread looking avocado) detail matters, and felt it was off point. As a result we did not bother eating there in the evening - plenty of other choice locally. Overall a great place to stay, and staff very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has really good AC. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast is offered in a restaurant on site offering everything from yogurt to a full English breakfast. It is centrally located so you can easily walk to all the sites in Valletta.

Great location to explore Valletta. However, I had a terrible first night stay in room 101, ground floor. Bizarrely, the windows have shutters which do not open fully as there is a TV on the wall covering them? Also, even if you could open them to enjoy the courtyard view, there are no net curtains so everyone can see in. Therefore you have no choice but to be in unnatural light with no view at all. I was able to switch rooms for my remaining short stay. If you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. Despite signs everywhere requesting quiet between 9pm and 8am, this hotel is very noisy with doors banging constantly. The Molton Brown hand wash and hand cream dispensers in the toilet do not contain Molton Brown products?
