Hotel room wasn't ready when we got there (1.t hours after check in time) - we recieved a complimentary drink while waiting which was appreciated. Got to our hotel room and although it was a room with 'no windowsill had a window... overlooking an abandoned swimming pool. The air was humid and stunk of mildew and I couldnt breathe in the room. Asked reception to be moved - they moved us next door. Slightly more breathable but still stunk of mildew from from the empty broken pool beneath the room. Asked to be moved again as the room (the whole area of the hotel) was not fit for purpose. The receptionist on the desk was new and didnt know how else to help (said there were no other rooms) - he gave us another round of complimentary drinks while we waited for his colleague to return from their break. She returned and got us in a new room in a different area of the hotel whi h was much better. The room was fine, if a little dated and in neex of a refurbished. The hotel has the potential to be a stunning hotel but is just very tired.

This hotel was great...and i had quite low expectations for it. Stayed on the 6th floor, in a room that was very spacious compared to other, more central, London hotels. Room was clean, however we were only given a two small pillows on quite a large bed for two people. This was strange but im sure i couldve asked for more. The pub connected to this hotel is also really nice. Food was adequate at best, but the convenience of having it connected to the hotel was so nice. Will definitely aim to stay here again.

The hotel is now a bit tired and needs modernising. The room you get is like a lottery. My room had no window and no wi-fi coverage. TV is constanyly rebooting
