Very rushed check in with long queues. Even though we were in a junior suite. Parking very awkward to find, nobody answered the reception phone to provide guidance. Room old, nothing like pictured. Dents in the bathroom door. Painted horribly black. Mutton dressed as lamb comes to mind with this place. Stains on the carpet, dusty headboard. Breakfast was oily and cheap tasting.

The hotel is slightly tired. The restaurant manager was very helpful when I was ill. The room facilities were ok. Tea and coffee wasn’t brilliant. One sachet of coffee in the room! Brown sauce at breakfast had run out, no more in the hotel. No teaspoons on the table, when I asked for one they had to search the bar area as there were none in the restaurant at 8.30am for breakfast . Asked for a latte that wasn’t included in the price of my stay 😔 Overall ok but for the price I paid over £200 with breakfast I feel slightly disappointed . The room served the purpose for a one night stay, but not upto the price tag sadly.

The room was stuck in the loft. It was supposed to be a suite. It had no number on it or directions on how to get there. It was clean but very dated. The cost was extremely expensive for what was on offer, roughly double the price for what it was. Breakfast on the first morning was terrible. The tables weren’t cleared from previous guests, we sat with used plates and cups all around us. The ‘clean’ coffee cups were stained with coffee bits still in them. The food was ok. We paid almost £700 for two nights. A fair price would have been nearer to £300 for what we got
