Beautiful place, the elevators were terribly slow, don’t be in a rush!

Overall, a very pleasant weekend stay in a historic hotel. I would recommend, especially for the price. Easy walk to Boardwalk Hall. The staff was friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy the Phans that were in town to see their favorite band. There room was clean and the beds comfortable. The furniture in the room was a little dated and worn, but functional. Towels and linens were great. Convenient parking garage and connection bridge to Bally's Casino and restaurants. I did not experience the long elevator delays that other reviewers mentioned. The only thing that needed immediate attention was the odor in the parking garage elevator area and connector to the hotel.

This was definitely vintage, and I loved it for that. Ocean view was cool, and I think probably worth it. Hotel staff was great, and the location was very convenient to Boardwalk Hall. Everything was clean and well maintained for such a historic building. Catwalk access to Bally's was great too. Parking was pretty convenient, if not a little pricey. I'd stay here again if I was in AC.

We decided to abandon our reservations at this hotel to stay at another location due to how uncomfortable and unsafe the location felt to us upon arrival. We saw signs of prostitution/human trafficking in the lobby, and the entire property is dark and sketchy.
