Stayed two nights at the Bull in Wargrave for the Rewind 80's Fest in nearby Henley on Thames. Slept in the ultra comfortable King bed double room of this charming olde world country inn and from the minute we arrived we could not have been made to feel any more welcome by its fabulous staff with special mentions going out to Johnny who kindly settled us in to our room on arrival and Jane the landlady of this fabulous place who made the most immense cooked to order breakfast each morning. Nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed our weekend so much its an absolute guarantee we'll be back again in the near future. The standard of hospitality & friendliness was of such high class that we simply cannot recommend the Bull in Wargrave and its staff highly enough. Wonderful place... loved every minute!

Very convenient stay for us near to Henley. Facilities were very good, staff excellent and the breakfast was amazing. It is a 700 year old pub, so is a very homely place to stay. Paid parking is close by, but it is not a fortune ie. overnight free, you just pay for the portion either side of pre-6pm or post-6am that you are there. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I stayed here overnight for an early business meeting - I wish I was here for leisure! What an absolute little gem of a pub - traditional decor, traditional food and the most traditional British service from a lovely friendly team. Jayne and her team members really make this place worth visiting - their host skills and friendly nature were worth every penny. I stayed in Room 1, a quirky little room at the top of the crooked pub. The ensuite bathroom was spotlessly clean and the little touches (light up mirror, bin, lovely bodywash etc) made it perfect. Some hotels I have stayed in don't even have a full length mirror! The lovely comfy bed with handy tea facilities, bottled water and biscuits made a perfect rest stop after my long drive. I didn't bother with the TV but it was adequate. I was greeted by the pub dogs on the stairs the next morning, so I stayed for a scritchy scratch and cuddles! The breakfast was amazing - granola, fresh fruit and tea / coffee, with a choice of hot breakfast cooked to order. I chose the "Savoy", smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, which was absolutely delicious. All in all, I absolutely loved my stay here and wish it was closer for a weekend away with husband! The only slight downside (and not the fault of the hotel) was the lack of convenient parking. There is a local car park with complicated rules (different tiers of parking, free after 10pm but you have to pay from 6am, so bang goes that lovely lie-in!)
