Very helpful staff & a stunning position for a pub. Comfortable bed and good food. Breakfast was generous & tasty. Also had an evening meal there, which was great.

One of the most welcoming places we’ve stayed. Every member of staff we met was genuinely friendly and made sure our stay was great. Spotlessly clean, great breakfast and a lovely atmosphere.

The room was lovely although it had roof lights rather than windows which was a shame as the location of the building is breathtaking. The views from the building location are truely stunning, especially as we were there over a spring "heatwave" and it was so beautiful. Because of that, plenty of people were sitting at the fantastic outdoor seating area overlooking the valley. The dinners were excellent which is obviously the other reason it is such a popular pub. The English breakfast was plentiful and perfectly ok but nothing special (no hash browns - WHAAT?), although there was a good choice of other cooked options. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay.
