Not the room we booked. Booked a poolside room with 2 single beds. Instead ended up with a big long walk down this ridiculously long foyer to a room that faced the garden, the pool was not even close to this room. The room had a king bed, so had to walk all the way back to be told that they did not have a room with 2 singles and that we would need to ‘split’ the king in half. Staff member that was on shift was very helpful there though. It just sucks when they can’t get the very basics right and just give you what you have booked and paid for! Meh review…

Great location if working in the Far North. Beachside rooms are spacious and and tidy. Wifi and mobile reception is minimal which isn't a bad thing. On site restaurant is great for dinner and breakfast. The staff here are great and will go out of their way to help. One issue do a better corporate rate and you will be full.

Chill, calm location. Great parking and easy to find. Views of the water. Easy home base to explore the area - including a day trip up to Cape Reinga.

Very spacious suite, good bed, wifi, tv. Responsive staff - a couple of maintenance issues were quickly solved. Kitchen is well equipped with even a dishwasher. View to pool gardens was nice. Appreciated that the bedroom had a door, giving extra protection from kiddie noises in the wide hallway. Too bright at night in the bedroom, but we solved that with the extra blanket tucked over the curtsin.
