Sweeney Motherwell is an under-rated gem, with high quality rooms very close by to the railway station, acting as a good staging post for quality sleep before travelling on.

Very good, reasonably priced accommodation in Motherwell. Very quiet and yet convenient to town centre. Only problem was neither of the bedside lamps were working, but nothing major as I was only there for one night. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

All good no issues. One issue was the steep stairs carrying heavy luggage.

Everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Parking and the kitchenette was the 2 main reasons for booking. Everything was very clean and it's close to train station and shops. Would definitely stay again.

The appartement itself was well appointed and very comfortable, but our experience was negatively affected by an incident in the parking area. We were approached by a male individual who we could not identify as either a guest or a member of management. He berated us for how we had parked, speaking in a rude and intimidating manner. Had there been an issue with our parking, a polite explanation would have been appreciated. Instead, the interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As far as we were concerned we had parked in a designated parking area. I would encourage the host to ensure that any parking concerns are handled professionally and respectfully.

Decent place to stay but a bit expensive for what it is. Other surrounding hotels like Dakota were listed for cheaper. Flush didn’t work either & the woman on the phone was slightly rude. Walls were quite thin also so could hear everything going on.
