Hotel was amazing. The staff were all really great and very helpful, rooms had an amazing view over the Nile. Would return here again.

Our stay at the Steigenberger Resort & Spa was great. It fully met our expectations of a 5-star hotel in terms of comfort, and the service from the staff was exceptional. I would, however, note that on our last night, there was a wedding reception that lasted until 11:30 PM. The music was very loud and prevented us from sleeping. After voicing our concerns to the floor manager, we found him to be empathetic; he addressed the situation immediately and brought the volume down to a reasonable level.

I loved this hotel because, it’s classy but not fancy It has a beautiful pool on the Nile It has several restaurants, the Italian one is amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful. I forgot my phone in a taxi 😱and they managed to save my vacation by getting it back in my hands !!!!! This whole vibe is very chill and unpretentious. I will def stay here again . Steve S NYC

The hotel was as expected, and the staff were consistently helpful. I was, however, disappointed by the very limited number of women on staff. I recognize that women are less represented in the workforce in Egypt, and having visited the country several times, was prepared for that disparity. Still, it can be uncomfortable as a female guest to have nearly every interaction be with men. I continue to hope that hotels—particularly those with international ownership and clientele—will give greater consideration to gender diversity among their staff.

Rooms are dated, but clean. Location on the Nile is very nice and breakfast is very good. Staff are too pushy with tipping, making the stay unpleasant. Taxi drivers outside the hotel are also very pushy, making it difficult to sometimes leave the hotel.
